The Den is a specially-designed private event room with independent audio/visual capabilities. This versatile space accommodates up to 36 seated guests and up to 60 for a standing reception.
The space is ideal to host a variety of functions such as birthdays, wedding showers, engagement celebrations, corporate presentations and formal events. The room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including high speed internet access, built-in Toshiba 55″ LCD HDTV for audio/visual programming, private bar, Martin audio sound system, and a built-in wall iPod dock allows guests to control the music.
The fireside dining room known as The Parlor seats up to 60 guests and hosts 80 for a standing reception. The Parlor offers privacy with views of the vault and main bar area while maintaining the energy and ambiance of the entire venue.
The Parlor can be combined with The Vault for a multi-room in depth Bedford experience.
Available for parties of up to 50 seated or standing guests, the copper clad bank vault at The Bedford is the only space of its kind in Chicago. The Vault is adorned with custom lounge furniture making the room ideal for cocktail and passed appetizer receptions.
The Bedford Closeout
For larger events, The Bedford can provide exclusive closeouts of the entire venue, accommodating 125 seated guests and allowing up to 300 people. Our experienced team will work closely with you to develop a personalized menu including quality seasonal food, wine, and spirits.

For all seated dinners with a preselected menu, we provide your guests a custom menu card.

Our kitchen can accommodate any dietary restrictions, such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free diets. With advanced notice, kosher meals are

A signed contract and credit card are required to confirm private functions.
GUEST COUNT GUARANTEE
A final guaranteed guest count is required three business days prior to the event. This number is the minimum number charged for the day of the event.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUMS
Food and beverage minimums apply to all parties utilizing a private room.
Minimums do not include tax, gratuity or any additional services provided. Gratuities are calculated based on the food & beverage minimum.
A 20% service charge and 9.75% sales tax are added to all food & beverage prices.
The Bedford is happy to provide complimentary music, dining tables, seating, glassware, dishes, votive candles, gift and place card tables, so leave the
work to us and enjoy your event. The Bedford also provides complimentary WiFi.
Our Den features a 52’’ LCD HDTV to watch your montage video and is also complete with an iPod docking station so you can easily hear your own tunes.
Other audio visual equipment is available upon request for an additional charge.
Specialty linen, floral centerpieces, coat check and valet parking are available for an additional charge. We can also help arrange additional A/V services
